Lionel's Biggie Moment

He was always so patient.....and spent most of his time fishing very near my working place area, the sea was part of a former shipyard dock and part reclaimed.....It was behind the newly build Keppel Bay Tower building....Earlier on our fishing trips there, we had lost countless battles with monsters....And i've witnessed other anglers end up battered and bruised....even a regular japanese angler there, by using a big boat reel, the Penn Senator...!!!.....all defeated.

1. It was one fine morning, when he called me and my girlfriend telling us, in trembling voice, that he had caught a monster...and this time he won the battle...

The tug of war was very deadly..It was a straight strength fighting one-two-one affair with the Jiahan...It was almost countless times trying to turn the Jiahan head towards him...what a rush....!!!

I knew he could do it...!!! He's a commitment fisherman who was always looking for the right tides and catching his own fresh baits......He's someone who could tie a very tidy and strong knots...even better than mine..That's him with his trophy...A 10kg giant Catfish or Jiahan.......
