Labrador Jetty [before de renovation]

It's a wonderful day today at this magnificient Labrador jetty...Upon arriving there, we witnessed screaming[ratched] or alarm from reels n bending to U rods. A regular veteran fisherman there had pumped in his rod and started fighting.....

The Labrador regular veteran fisherman managed the tug-of-war in a casual and calm manner...Displaying his awesome fighting skills for me to learn...
The fish was being pumped in very close to the jetty...

A close-up view of the fish being haul-up to the top...

The battle of the day had been won...We were all admiring the fish...And really gave us high hopes for the day.
A close view of the Talang or Queenfish...Estimated at around 3 to 4 kilos..Our veteran fisherman gave away this fish to a passerby[unknown stranger] to him..

Putting in the hours, from the pleasurable comfort of my home....

Never doubt a stormy weather...it increased my catch rate during my Hyundai days...

Iam so glad to test-cast the new daiwa sealine x 30sha... This reel proved a great deal by displaying smooth casting and awsome winding power...I had done some modification to it.....by changing one of the bushing to a bearing and it is now a 4ball-bearing reel....
The front view of my drum...fitted with 25lb berkley big-game wt 50lb sufix superior shockleader...

Well, i usually cast one near and one far..Both were fitted with fresh big-game baits...

The seduction feeling of surfcasting...I can't imagine the feeling at full flight...syiok...

The weather cleared up much to our joy...Waiting for the biggies to appear..

The evergreen daiwa rg7000 black diamond...handed down to me by my dad...

The daiwa co-operation....A legendary rod and reel combined for the 1st time in 22 years...

The bait got robbed over n over again once it was low tide. The culprit was curiously a crab...

This crab got hooked by it's claw. Was released after picture session...
