The Bullet Train Fish...Hyundai Reclaimed Land

A closer view of the sprinter...Note that, i've witnessed Changi Hyundai was clean without any rubbish on shore or at sea. Reason was, the tractors were pushing the new sand everyday so that's why the shore was so deep just by 50 meters away...!!!

It was so very dark tonight cause there's no sign of the moon at all. We walked for 2 hours to the new spot.... Upon reaching there, we prepared our arsenals...While, i was doin my 2nd rod, my Team Daiwa coupled wt Abu 6500 Elite's alarm was screaming loudly non-stop in pain....!!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....!!!!!!!!! Whacked it..!!! And...Yes...!!!....Fish...On....!!!!!

The fish was sprinting at a fast speed towards the left-hand side, at around 100 meters. All i can do was to hold on to the rod in a tightly sensible drag setting....To slow the fish down only,....not to stop it...!!!! I had to follow to the left direction, so as to keep my lines away from the snags....The fish slowed down, and at this time iam pumping it towards me...It took me 03 times try to land it.....The fish gave a fierce sprint whenever my friend try to gaff it in....At last, it was a Cobia.... Look at the size..It weight in at about 12kgs..

Goldfisher...- Hyundai Reclaimed Land

After two years of service to the army, i was always constanly doin fishing. Even my own family were complaining that iam not always at home. At this time, wherever you go fishing, stories of the Monster fish that got landed or got away was always in Changi Hyundai Reclaimed Land.....! . So, it was soon to be my port of call....One night, i was hit with two 2kgs Grunters or Ikan Gerut2, while my friend got a 3kg Snapper or Ang Chor Ke...Sometimes, my Abu6500 ct c3 was stripped entirely empty..!!! But, at one unusual outing there, when the tide was goin down by 2am, i noticed my 16lb Berkley Tournament gold line had slackened on my 10'ft Team Daiwa recustomed rod.....

I  reeled it in slowly,...but, suddenly a huge sized fish leapt out of the water and thrust dived 50 meters in front of me...At this time, my knees were shaking and my nerves were tested to the maximum.....All my gut feelings told me that this was a Kim Bak Lor...or Ikan Siakap..! True enough, the Siakap gave another six more jumps before i had the chance to reeled it in...! The fish struggled and swam strongly everytime my buddy came close to gaff it while its still in the water five meters out. In the end, after a 15mins bout, i won and landed it safely. It was a Ikan Siakap or Kim Bak Lor and it was golden in colour..I couldn't put the fish in the icebox so i had to wrapped it with newspaper and put it in a clean trashbag thus burying it under the sand. Me posing with my sleepy face in the morning...

At night, the land and the ground are colder, so i had to bury the fish when its dead, just to keep it cool...My fishing bro, Beez, came in the morning and congratulate me on my catch....

The Ikan Siakap or Kim Bak Lor was nearly the same length with my leg...It was weight in at 10kgs on the scale....
